Tata Zest Premio launched this March

Among the different launches and concept cars that were showcased at Auto Expo 2018, the special edition launch of Zest was probably not mentioned. That makes this launch a pleasant surprise from Tata Motors and it is a clever strategy adopted to ensure that attention of the customers is taken up frequently. The Zest Premio comes with new features like a dual tone roof with glossy black finish, outside mirrors in piano black, a chic tan on the mid pad of the dashboard and other interior features that are new additions.

Tata Motors has named the special edition of Zest, the Zest Premio. The special edition would help gain back focus on Zest sales. There have been about 85000 Zest models that have sold till date and Premio would help to add to the sales even more as several new features have been added to the car. The Zest Premio comes with a diesel powertrain and the prices of the car start from Rs 7.53 lakhs which is a premier considering the base model price of Zest.

Besides the features talked above, the car comes with two unique shades, Platinum Silver and Titanium Grey. There are smoked headlamps of the multi reflector feature, a piano style black hood stripe added to the front that accompanies the bumper in dual tone shades. The same look is carried out on the boot lid and the special edition badge is mentioned as well. The wheels of the car come with silver covers. One could also opt for a piano black spoiler additionally. The Zest Premio under its hood retains the same diesel engine of 1.3 liter model and is paired with a five speed manual gearbox. The interiors of the car include premium seat covers in fabric adorned with contrast stitching and the Premio branding on them.

As per the management of Tata Motors, Passenger Vehicles unit, the special edition Zest brings a fresh and new look to the car and it is sure to appeal to customers for the unique value proposition it showcases. It is a compact sedan that has high ratings in terms of safety and it has proven itself to be an ideal car for the young aspiring customers. The changes have been made as per the perceived preferences and liking of customers and the carmaker is hopeful that the special edition will help increase sales of the car considerably.
