The second generation Renault Duster is about to be launched this year and those who are interested would want to know what they can expect in this car. The first gen Duster comes with a design that has an emotional connect with most of the buyers. Indeed, the Dacia model that is similar to Duster has also been a bestselling model in the European markets. Dacia also sells the Duster twin model in other countries like Brazil and here the numbers have been quite high.
The new model has certain upgrades to its looks. The front fascia has a bold and broad design as well as the voluminous haunches on the sides is maintained as well as the raised up the stance of the car. The bumper, grille and headlights remain the same, but overall the new model has a wider look than the outgoing model. The headlights also sweep upwards slightly and there are new DRLs on the new gen model. The new headlamps have internal detailing that will draw your attention as well as the circular fog lamps. The skid plate of the large faux design is also retained as before. The new SUV comes with a hood that is more sculpted and recessed in the center.
The changes include diamond cut alloy wheels which are 17 inches in diameter as compared to the 16 inch wheels of the first gen model. The front fender cladding is new and the 4WD label showcases a change in the driving stance of the car. The windscreen has been pushed back further and the front windows and doors appear to be larger. The automaker keeps the rear windscreen in intact form, though the back does have a slimmer overall look now. The Duster label remains with the license plate and appliqué as before. The inside layout would have a dashboard that is redesigned with satin chrome finish, octagonal AC vents and a three spoke steering wheel which is a new design.
